PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-51 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPROVAL OF CASNING-89-6, APPLICATION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR REZO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton applied to rezone 5 parcels of <br />approximately 7.5 acres located at 1677 through 1795 <br />Santa Rita Road from the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) <br />to the C-C (Central Commercial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 26, 1989, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to encourage a more <br />intensive selection of commercial uses in existing C-C <br />districts, especially downtown. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies approval of Case RZ-89-6, the application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 7.5 <br />acre site located t 1677 through 1795 Santa Rita Road <br />from the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) to the C-C <br />(Central Commercial) District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 26TH DAY OF APRIL 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hovingh, Mahern and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: Commissioners Berger and Horan <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
