PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-41 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE RZ-89-4, THE APPLICATION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />Municipal Code to allow "secondhand stores" as a <br />permitted or conditionally permitted use in the C-N <br />(Neighborhood Commercial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 22, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did not find that "second hand <br />stores" are appropriate for the C-N (Neighborhood <br />Commercial) District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Denies Case RZ-89-4, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code to allow <br />"secondhand stores" as a permitted use or conditionally <br />permitted use in the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) <br />District. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 22ND DAY OF MARCH 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, and Hoyt <br />NOES: Commissioners Mahern and Chairman Michelotti <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 22, 1989 <br />
