PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-40 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR <br />REZONING BY JOSEPH MADDEN AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-89-3 <br />WHEREAS,. Joseph Madden has applied to rezone an approximately <br />0.24 acre site located at the northern terminus of old <br />Santa Rita Road between Tassajara Creek and Old Santa <br />Rita Road from the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District to the C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District; and <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br />declaration was adopted by Planning Commission on <br />April 4, 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 22, 1989, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the the C-S <br />(Commercial Service} zoning district is consistent with <br />the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends rezoning the approximately 0.24 acre site <br />located at the northern terminus of Old Santa Rita Road <br />between Tassajara Creek and Old Santa Rita Road from the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) -Industrial/Commercial <br />and Offices District to the C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton on 22nd day of March 1989 by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, Hoyt, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />t <br />SHARRELL MICHELOTTI, CHAI N <br />
