PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-36 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-89-1, THE <br />APPLICATION OF FAR WEST ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Far West Associates has applied for development plan <br />approval to construct a 138-unit residential project and <br />related improvements to be located on an approximately <br />20 acre site located easterly of the terminus of <br />Stoneridge Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, in response to concerns of the surrounding community, <br />the developer reduced his proposal to 124 residential <br />units; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 22, 1989, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the development plan <br />proposed is consistent with the General Plan and PUD <br />policies and considerations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved a Negative Declaration <br />for this project at their March 22, 1989 meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-89-1, the application <br />of Far West Associates for development plan approval to <br />construct a 124 unit residential project and related <br />improvements to be located on an approximately 20 acre <br />site located easterly of the terminus of Stoneridge <br />Drive subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 22ND DAY OF MARCH 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioner Berger, Horan, Hoyt and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: Commissioner Hovingh <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Mahern <br />
