PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-11 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-89-2, THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR PREZONING (BONDE PROPERTY) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an <br />approximately 100 acre site located on both sides of <br />Bernal Avenue generally between Independence Drive and <br />Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) District, or to <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 8, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />RZ-89-2; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial. Study dated February 2, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held February 8, 1989 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration (as amended at the <br />February 8, 1989 Planning Commission meeting for Case <br />RZ-89-2, the application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />prezone an approximately 100 acre site located on both <br />sides of Bernal Avenue generally between Independence <br />Drive and Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District. <br />
