CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-144 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br />(ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br />STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br />No. 76-79; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 3, 1991, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report (SR 91:356) from the <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities related to <br />establishing a three-way stop at Bernal Avenue and <br />Vineyard Avenue (East); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended <br />by adding Subsections 3b-9 and 3v-9 to Section 3 (Stop <br />Intersections) to read as follows: <br />3b-9 Bernal Avenue, at Vineyard Avenue (East); stopping <br />traffic on Bernal Avenue in both directions. <br />3v-9 Vineyard Avenue (East), at Bernal Avenue; stopping <br />traffic on Vineyard Avenue (East). <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 3, 1991 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />APPROVED AS TO FO <br />~~~~~~ ~ <br />Michael H.
