PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-103 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE <br />UP-90-05, THE APPLICATION OF CHEVRON USA INC. <br />WHEREAS, Chevron USA has applied for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a gas station, food mart, and carwash to be <br />located at 5280 Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 14, the <br />Planning Commission received a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case UP-90-05; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 23, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />UP-90-05, the application of Chevron USA for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a gas station, food <br />mart, and carwash to be located at 5280 Hopyard Road. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that <br />time. <br />
