EXHIBIT A Resolution No. PC-90-102 November 14, 1990 Amend Chapter 18.08 (Definitions) as follows: Add Section 18.08.042 - "Car Wash" to read as follows: "Car Wash, Full-Service" means a place where motor vehicles are manually vacuumed and cleaned, drawn by mechanical conveyor through an enclosed building tunnel to be manually and/or automatically washed, dried, and/or waxed, and taken to a final area for finishing. All such operations are performed by the car wash operator. Incidental services may include special wax, polish, and detail operations, sales of gasoline and other motor fuels, sales of small gift items, and personal services to waiting car wash customers. "Car Wash, Self-Service" means a place where motor vehicles are manually vacuumed, cleaned, washed, and/or waxed by the vehicle operator. "Car Wash, Drive-Through" means a place where motor vehicles are driven by the vehicle operator through a fully enclosed building tunnel to be automatically washed, dried, and/or waxed. Drive-through car washes are typically operated in conjunction with a service station or self-service car wash. Add Section 18.08.049 - "Convenience Market", to read as follows: "Convenience Market" means a food market limited to 2,500 square feet of gross floor area which carries a limited inventory of food, beverages, and convenience items, but excluding liquor stores, delicatessens, and specialty food shops. Change Section 18.08.330 - "Service Station" as follows: Delete: "Service Station" means a place where gasoline or any other motor fuel, lubricating oil or grease for the operation of motor vehicles is offered for sale to the public and deliveries are made directly into the vehicle, including sale of accessories, performance of minor repairs and lubrication, and the washing of automobiles where no chain conveyor or blower is used.
