EXHIBIT A <br />Resolution No. PC-90-102 <br />November 14, 1990 <br />Amend Chapter 18.08 (Definitions) as follows: <br />Add Section 18.08.042 - "Car Wash" to read as follows: <br />"Car Wash, Full-Service" means a place where motor <br />vehicles are manually vacuumed and cleaned, drawn by <br />mechanical conveyor through an enclosed building tunnel <br />to be manually and/or automatically washed, dried, and/or <br />waxed, and taken to a final area for finishing. All such <br />operations are performed by the car wash operator. <br />Incidental services may include special wax, polish, and <br />detail operations, sales of gasoline and other motor <br />fuels, sales of small gift items, and personal services <br />to waiting car wash customers. <br />"Car Wash, Self-Service" means a place where motor <br />vehicles are manually vacuumed, cleaned, washed, and/or <br />waxed by the vehicle operator. <br />"Car Wash, Drive-Through" means a place where motor <br />vehicles are driven by the vehicle operator through a <br />fully enclosed building tunnel to be automatically <br />washed, dried, and/or waxed. Drive-through car washes <br />are typically operated in conjunction with a service <br />station or self-service car wash. <br />Add Section 18.08.049 - "Convenience Market", to read as <br />follows: <br />"Convenience Market" means a food market limited to 2,500 <br />square feet of gross floor area which carries a limited <br />inventory of food, beverages, and convenience items, but <br />excluding liquor stores, delicatessens, and specialty <br />food shops. <br />Change Section 18.08.330 - "Service Station" as follows: <br />Delete: <br />"Service Station" means a place where gasoline or any <br />other motor fuel, lubricating oil or grease for the <br />operation of motor vehicles is offered for sale to the <br />public and deliveries are made directly into the vehicle, <br />including sale of accessories, performance of minor <br />repairs and lubrication, and the washing of automobiles <br />where no chain conveyor or blower is used. <br />Replace with: <br />"Service Station, Full-Service" means a place where <br />
