PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-102 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-90-8, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE CODE REGARDING DEFINITIONS, LOCATION, AND PARKING FOR GAS STATIONS WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Section 18.88 of the Municipal Code to include parking standards for self-serve gasoline stations and self-serve gasoline stations with food mart, and to amend Section 18.08 (Definitions), and 18.44 (Table) to set forth location criteria and performance standards for service station carwash blowers; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 14, 1990, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, the amendments proposed on the attached exhibit, with modifications made at this hearing, are appropriate changes to the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the proposed Municipal Code changes are consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section i. Recommends approval of Case RZ-90-8, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend Section 18.88 of the Municipal Code to include parking standards for self- serve gasoline stations and self-serve gasoline stations with food mart, and to amend Section 18.08 (Definitions) , and 18.44 (Table) to set forth location criteria and performance standards for service station carwash blowers as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
