PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-102 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-90-8, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE CODE <br />REGARDING DEFINITIONS, LOCATION, AND PARKING FOR GAS STATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Section 18.88 <br />of the Municipal Code to include parking standards for <br />self-serve gasoline stations and self-serve gasoline <br />stations with food mart, and to amend Section 18.08 <br />(Definitions), and 18.44 (Table) to set forth location <br />criteria and performance standards for service station <br />carwash blowers; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 14, <br />1990, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the amendments proposed on the attached exhibit, with <br />modifications made at this hearing, are appropriate <br />changes to the Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Municipal Code changes are consistent with <br />the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section i. Recommends approval of Case RZ-90-8, the application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to amend Section 18.88 of the <br />Municipal Code to include parking standards for self- <br />serve gasoline stations and self-serve gasoline stations <br />with food mart, and to amend Section 18.08 (Definitions) , <br />and 18.44 (Table) to set forth location criteria and <br />performance standards for service station carwash blowers <br />as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
