PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-97 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />FOR S&8 PROPERTIES AS FILED UNDER GP-90-7 <br />WHEREAS, S & S Properties has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from "Low Density <br />Residential" to "Medium Density Residential" for an <br />approximately 9 acre portion of a 14 acre site located at <br />10890 Dublin Canyon Road; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 24, 1990, <br />at which time all public testimony, relevant exhibits, <br />and recommendations of the City staff were heard and <br />considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission expressed concern regarding <br />density, and locational factors such as the rural <br />remainder of the Westbrook property, and the freeway. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section i. Denies approval of the application of S & S Properties <br />(Westbrook) to amend the Land Use Element designation of <br />the General Plan from "Low Density Residential" to the <br />"Medium Density Residential' for an approximately 9 acre <br />portion of a 14 acre site located at 10890 Dublin Canyon <br />Road. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 24TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hovingh, McGuirk, and Michelotti <br />NOES: Commissioner Horan and Chairman Mahern <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST : ,~~ <br />~i'6''~'`"%'G <br />~~~ <br />Brian W.
