PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLOTION N0. PC-90-89 <br />RESOLOTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR CASE POD-90-10, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. <br />CALLAHAN <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan has applied for PUD rezoning and <br />development plan approval to rezone an approximately 1.8 <br />acre site from PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Neighborhood Commercial to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - High Density Residential and to construct <br />20 townhomes located at 600 Palomino Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1990, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration for Case PUD-90-10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 17, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-90-10, the application of Joseph W. <br />Callahan for PUD rezoning and development plan approval <br />to rezone an approximately 1.8 acre site from PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Neighborhood Commercial to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density <br />Residential and to construct 20 townhomes located at 600 <br />Palomino Drive <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
