PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COONTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLIITION N0. PC-90-88-A <br />RESOLOTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-90-6, THE <br />APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. CALLAHAN AND GARY HANSEN <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan and Gary Hansen have applied to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan of <br />an approximately 12.52 acre site, consisting of the 11.3 <br />acre Madden property ("Commercial and Offices"), the .91 <br />acre Augusta property ("Commercial and Offices"), and the <br />.33 acre Westfall property ("Medium Density Residential") <br />to "High Density Residential," located generally on the <br />north side of Stanley Boulevard between Rachael Place, <br />the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, and the Southern <br />Pacific right-of-way, including 3801, 3963, and 3967 <br />Stanley Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 22, 1990, the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the proposed negative <br />declaration prepared for Case GP-90-6; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on August 22, 1990, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed amendment <br />to the Land Use Element of the City of Pleasanton's <br />General Plan is appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-90-6, the application of <br />Joseph W. Callahan and Gary Hansen to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan of an approximately <br />12.52 acre site, consisting of the 11.3 acre Madden property, <br />the .91 acre Augusta property, and the .33 acre Westfall <br />property located generally on the north side of Stanley <br />Boulevard between Rachael Place, the Union Pacific Railroad <br />tracks, and the Southern Pacific right-of-way, including 3801, <br />3963, and 3967 Stanley Boulevard, to "High Density <br />Residential." <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
