PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COIINTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLOTION N0. PC-90-85 RESOLIITION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-90-5, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. CALLAHAN, JR. WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. has applied to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for the approximately 1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive, from "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential" to "High Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 8, 1990, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposed negative declaration prepared for Case GP-90-5; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on August 8, 1990, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the City of Pleasanton's General Plan is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMI88ION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVER THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-90-5, the application of Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for the approximately 1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive, from "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential" to "High Density Residential," with the requirement that 20 percent of the High Density Residential housing units to be built should be in the affordable or moderate range. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLOTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF AOGOST 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Hovingh, Michelotti, and Chairman Mahern NOES: Commissioners Horan and McGuirk ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None DATE: August 8, 1990
