PLANNING COMMIS8ION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-84 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-90-5, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. CALLAHAN, JR WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. has applied to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for the approximately 1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive, from "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential" to "High Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 8, 1990, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-90-5; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 17, 1990, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 8, 1990, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends that the City Council approve the Negative Declaration prepared for Case GP-90-5, the application of Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for the approximately 1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive, from "Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential" to "High Density Residential." Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF AUGUST 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
