PLANNING COMMIS8ION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-84 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE GP-90-5, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. CALLAHAN, JR <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan for the <br />approximately 1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino <br />Drive, from "Commercial and Offices/High Density <br />Residential" to "High Density Residential"; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 8, 1990, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />GP-90-5; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 17, 1990, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 8, 1990, <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends that the City Council approve the Negative <br />Declaration prepared for Case GP-90-5, the application of <br />Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan for the approximately <br />1.79 acre site located at 600 Palomino Drive, from <br />"Commercial and Offices/High Density Residential" to <br />"High Density Residential." <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF AUGUST 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
