PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COIINTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLIITION N0. PC-90-80 <br />RESOLIITION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE FOOTHILL ROAD <br />ALIGNMENT - STONERIDGE DRIVE TO BERNAL AVENIIE <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 8, 1990, the Planning Commission <br />reviewed a report regarding the studies on the proposed <br />alignment of Foothill Road between Stoneridge Drive and <br />Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, duly notice public hearings were held on July 25, 1990, <br />and August 8, 1990, at which time interested parties were <br />given an opportunity to present testimony and documents <br />regarding the proposed alignment; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />General Plan which covered the Foothill Road lane <br />configuration and general alignment and no additional <br />environmental review is necessary as this time; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that a two-lane <br />roadway, with bike lanes and turn lanes, while reserving <br />right-of-way for the four-lane General Plan section was <br />appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends for consideration by the City Council a two- <br />lane roadway, with bike lanes and turn lanes, while <br />reserving right-of-way for the four-lane General Plan <br />section, for the Foothill Road alignment between <br />Stoneridge Drive to Bernal Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF AUGOST 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Horan, <br />NOES: Commissioner Hovingh <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />McGuirk, and Michelotti <br />and Chairman Mahern <br />DATE: August 8, 1990 <br />
