PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-74 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-90-7, THE APPLICATION OF JAY AND RYOUNG RU WHEREAS, Jay and Kyoung Ku has applied for a Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval to construct a two story, approximately 48,000 sq. ft., 70 room senior care facility to be located on an approximately 1.5 acre site located on the north side of Mohr Avenue immediately westerly of the former Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "0" (Office) District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 25, 1990, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-90-7; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 20, 1990, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 25, 1990 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed project would have an insignificant adverse effect on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-90-7, the application of Jay and Kyoung Ku for a Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval to construct a two story, approximately 48,000 sq. ft., 70 room senior care facility to be located on an approximately 1.5 acre site located on the north side of Mohr Avenue immediately westerly of the former Southern Pacific Railroad right- of-way.
