PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-74 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-90-7, THE APPLICATION <br />OF JAY AND RYOUNG RU <br />WHEREAS, Jay and Kyoung Ku has applied for a Planned Unit <br />Development rezoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a two story, approximately 48,000 sq. ft., 70 <br />room senior care facility to be located on an <br />approximately 1.5 acre site located on the north side of <br />Mohr Avenue immediately westerly of the former Southern <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "0" (Office) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 25, 1990, <br />the Planning Commission received a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case PUD-90-7; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 20, 1990, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 25, 1990 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed project would <br />have an insignificant adverse effect on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-90-7, the application of Jay and <br />Kyoung Ku for a Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br />development plan approval to construct a two story, <br />approximately 48,000 sq. ft., 70 room senior care <br />facility to be located on an approximately 1.5 acre site <br />located on the north side of Mohr Avenue immediately <br />westerly of the former Southern Pacific Railroad right- <br />of-way. <br />
