WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC -90 -63 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD- 85- 8- 4D -1M, <br />THE APPLICATION OF RETAIL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br />Retail Property Development Company has applied for a <br />major modification to an approved development plan for a <br />retail commercial complex to allow for a reduction of <br />overall square footage for the complex, a reconfiguration <br />of the corresponding parking and landscape areas, and the <br />addition of an outdoor dining area to the freestanding <br />restaurant pad to be located on an approximately 3.16 <br />acre site located on the north side of Owens Drive <br />approximately 400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot <br />Drive and Owens Drive; and <br />zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- Industrial, Commercial, and Offices District; and <br />at their duly noticed public hearing of June 27, 1990, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this matter; and <br />the changes proposed with this application will not <br />affect the environmental issues and conclusion made with <br />the initial environmental documentation associated with <br />this site; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed <br />modifications are appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Retail <br />Property Development Company for a major modification to <br />an approved development plan for a retail commercial <br />complex to allow for a reduction of overall square <br />footage for the complex, a reconfiguration of the <br />corresponding parking and landscape areas, and the <br />addition of an outdoor dining area to the freestanding <br />restaurant pad to be located on an approximately 3.16 <br />acre site located on the north side of Owens Drive <br />approximately 400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot <br />and Owens Drives subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The modifications shall substantially conform to <br />plans and elevations, dated June 1, 1990, on file <br />with the Planning Department. <br />
