PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-56 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CANCELLATION OF THE <br />WILLIAMSON ACT FOR THE GARMS RANCH PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, a request and petition for cancellation of Agricultural <br />Preserve Contract on the Garms Ranch property was filed <br />with the City of Pleasanton on behalf of the owner of the <br />property, which is located on the west side of Foothill <br />Road, opposite West Las Positas Boulevard (4440 Foothill <br />Road); and <br />WHEREAS, the property involved is all within the city limits of <br />the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was called and duly noticed for this <br />date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the <br />Environmental Impact Report for A-M Homes (Garms Ranch <br />project) (PUD-89-13) which analyzed the environmental <br />effects of the proposed A-M Homes residential project and <br />the loss of agricultural lands, and therefore, no <br />additional environmental review is required; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed and made the required <br />Williamson Act cancellation findings for the Garms Ranch <br />property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the cancellation of the <br />Agricultural Preserve Contract on the Garms property; <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE 1990 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Horan, <br />Chairman Berger <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Hovingh, Mahern, Michelotti, and <br />DATE: June 13, 1990 <br />
