PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-54 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL CASE RZ-90-05, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend provisions of <br />the Municipal Code pertaining to the creation of an <br />overlay district establishing development standards, <br />design regulations, and related matters applicable to the <br />Foothill Road corridor areas and to apply said <br />regulations to properties generally along the western <br />side of Foothill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 13, 1990, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a proposed negative declaration <br />for Case RZ-90-05 after considering all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed Draft <br />Overlay District is consistent with the General Plan's <br />goals, policies and programs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-90-05 the Application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to amend provisions of the <br />Municipal Code pertaining to the creation of an overlay <br />district establishing development standards, design <br />regulations, and related matters applicable to the <br />Foothill Road corridor areas and to apply said <br />regulations to properties generally along the western <br />side of Foothill Road and recommends approval of the <br />draft ordinance and its application to the area shown on <br />Exhibit "A," modified with the intent to proceed on a <br />case-by-case basis the two-acre parcels not on an <br />automatic exemption, subject to the modified conditions <br />of the staff report. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE 1990 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Horan, Hovingh, <br />Chairman Berger <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Mahern, Michelotti and <br />
