PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-53 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-90-O5, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend provisions of the Municipal Code pertaining to the creation of an overlay district establishing development standards, design regulations, and related matters applicable to the Foothill Road corridor areas and to apply said regulations to properties generally along the western side of Foothill Road; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 13, 1990, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-90- 05; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 13, 1990, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 13, 1990, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-90-05, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend provisions of the Municipal Code pertaining to the creation of an overlay district establishing development standards, design regulations, and related matters applicable to the Foothill Road corridor areas and to apply said regulations to properties generally along the western side of Foothill Road. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
