PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-90-53 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE RZ-90-O5, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend provisions of <br />the Municipal Code pertaining to the creation of an <br />overlay district establishing development standards, <br />design regulations, and related matters applicable to the <br />Foothill Road corridor areas and to apply said <br />regulations to properties generally along the western <br />side of Foothill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 13, 1990, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-90- <br />05; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 13, 1990, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 13, 1990, <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case RZ-90-05, the application of the City of Pleasanton <br />to amend provisions of the Municipal Code pertaining to <br />the creation of an overlay district establishing <br />development standards, design regulations, and related <br />matters applicable to the Foothill Road corridor areas <br />and to apply said regulations to properties generally <br />along the western side of Foothill Road. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
