CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-194 WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, RESOLUTION DENYING CITY COUNCIL APPEAL APPLICATION OF SELL-U-CAR (DAVE Muuuu ? TO A?.?OW A PYLON SIGN AND CHANGE THE WORDING, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-92-178 at its meeting of September 8, 1992, the Design Review Board approved the application of Sell-U-Car (Dave McDougall) to modify a previous condition of approval to allow a temporary pylon slgn to be retained as a permanent sign, and to change the wording on the existing pylon sign from "Avis Car Sales" to ,,Sell-U-Car Sales"; and zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial) District; and within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the City Council appealed the decision in order to review the proposed modification; and a public hearing was held before the City Council on October 6, 1992, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTONRESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Denies Case AP-92-16, thereby upholding the approval of the Design Review Board of Case Z-92-178, an application to modify a previous condition of approval to allow a temporary pylon sign to be retained as a permanent sign, and to change the wording on the existing pylon sign from "Avis Car Sales" to ,,Sell-U-Car Sales, subject to the following conditions: 1. The proposed development shall conform substantially to the site plans, elevations, and related materials, Exhibit "A" (dated ,,Received, August 10, 1992"), on file with the Planning Department, except as modified by these conditions. 2. The developer shall.~btain-al~ building and other applicable city permits for the project prior to the commencement of construction.
