pr.aNN=NG COMMS SSSON CSTY OF PLEASANTON <br />Ar~aMEDA COUNTY, CAL=FORK SA <br />RESOLUTSON NO _ PC-90-45 <br />RESOLUTSON RECOMMENDSNG APPROVAL OF A NEGATS VE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-90-2 , THE APPL=CATSON OF THE <br />JOSEPH W _ CALLAHAN , JR _ FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W_ Callahan, Jr_ has applied for a General Plan <br />amendment to amend the Land Use Element designation of <br />the General Plan from ••General and Limited Industr ial•• <br />to ••High Density Residential••; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 23, 1990, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for GP-90-2 ; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning COmm155 ion Peas received and reviewed the <br />Snitial Study dated April 29, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was Pie1d May 23 1990 at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Smpact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not Piave any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment _ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANN=NG COMM=SSSON OF THE CSTY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1 Re commands the approval of the Negative Declaration <br />for the application of Joseph W _ Callahan, Jr _ to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan <br />from ••Geraeral and Limited =ndustr ial•• to ••HigYi Density <br />Ras ident ial for the 4 _ 26 acre site located at the <br />s out2zwe st corner of Rheem Drive and Oa3cland Avenue _ <br />Section 2. This resolution sY1a11 become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption _ <br />
