pr.a NN=NG COMMS SS ION CSTY OF PLEASANTON Ar.a MEDA COUNTY, GALS FORN SA RESOLUT SON NO_ PC-90-43 RESOLUTION RECOMMEND=NG APPROVAL OF THE APPLS CATI ON OF THE C2TY OF PLEASANTON FOR DESSGN REVSEW APPROVAL AS FSLED UNDER CASE Z-90-178 WHEREAS, the City o£ Pleasanton has applied for design review approval to construct an approximately 1, 800 square foot first-floor and approximately 6, 000 square foot two- story addition to the existing police facility located at 4 8 3 3 Bernal Avenue , and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is ••P•• (PUb1ic and =nstitut TOnal) District - Civic Overlay District- and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public nearing of May 9 1990 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this applicationp and WHEREAS , proj acts o£ this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act ~ and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is appropriate for the sita_ NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNSNG COMMS SS2ON OF THE CSTY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS Section 1 _ Recommends approval o£ Case Z-90-178 , the application of the City of Pleasanton for design review approval to construct an approximately 1, 80o square foot first-floor and approximately 6 , 000 square foot two-story addition to the existing police facility located at 4833 Bernal Avenue subject to the following conditions: 1_ The project sna 11 substantially conform to the plans and elevations, dated March 30, 1990, on £i1e with the Planning Departments, exce nc=rein _ pt as modified 2 _ That the windows on the two-story addition sha11 be recessed a minimum o£ twelve incries _ 3 _ That a final landscape plan sha11 be submitted to the Planning Director for review and approval prior to trie issuance of a building permit_
