CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-158 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE PLEASANTON <br />GENEI~%L PLAN AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-92-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing <br />Element of the General Plan pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 65583 (a) (8) which requires all cities and <br />counties to conduct an analysis and undertake programs <br />for preserving existing assisted rental housing <br />developments that are eligible to change to non-low <br />income housing during the next ten years due to the <br />termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or <br />expiration of use restrictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a recommendation from the <br />Planning Commission for approval of this amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br />was appropriate for the proposed General Plan amendment <br />and adopted Resolution No. 92-10 approving the Negative <br />Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 4, 1992, <br />with respect to the General Plan amendment, at which time <br />any member of the public was afforded the opportunity to <br />address the city Council on said amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that this proposed General Plan <br />amendment is consistent with the goals and policies of <br />the General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The city Council approves the application filed by the <br /> City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the General <br /> Plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65583 (a) (8) which <br /> requires all cities and counties to conduct an analysis and <br /> undertake programs for preserving existing assisted rental <br /> housing developments that are eligible to change to non-low <br /> income housing during the next ten years due to the <br /> termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or <br /> expiration of use restrictions, as shown on Exbibit A, <br /> attached hereto and made a part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
