CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-149 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION TO THE EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT REGIONAL OPEN SPACE, WILDLIFE, SHORELINE AND PARK BONDLOCAL GRANT PROGRAM, PHASE II FUNDS AVAILABT~ TO THE UNINCORPORATED AREA TO PAVE A SECTION OF THE PATHWAY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ARROYO DEL V~T~m BETWEEN HOPYARDROADANDV~?Z.~YAVENUE- $48,501 WHEREAS, the voters 'of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties have authorized the issuance of the Regional Open Space, Wildlife, Shoreline and Park Bond Local Grant Program, Phase II, which provides funds to the East Bay Regional Park District for acquiring and/or developing facilities for public recreational and open space purposes; and WHEREAS, the East Bay Regional Park District has the responsibility for the administration of the Local Grant Program within the two counties setting up necessary procedures governing application by local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS, said procedures established by the East Bay Regional Park District require the applicant to certify by resolution the approval of applications before submission of said applications to the District; and WHEREAS, the applicant will enter into an agreement with the East Bay Regional Park District for acquisition or development of the project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the filing of an application for the Regional Open Space, Wildlife, Shoreline and Park Bond Local Grant Program, Phase II unincorporated area funding for paving a section of the pathway on the north side of the Arroyo Del Valle between Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue. Section 2: Certifies that the City understands the assurances and certification in the application form. Section 3: Certifies that the City shall perform all acts and obligations of the City under the application and the instruments and documents delivered pursuant thereto.
