CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-130 WHEREAS, RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY FOR ALT~)CATING FUNDS AND FACILITIES TO HUMAN SERVICE/COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS the City would like a process that assures that the needs of all nonprofit community agencies have been considered prior to allocating city funds and a uniform reporting procedure established for all agencies receiving funds; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 16, 1992, the City Council received and reviewed the report of the Director of Parks and Community Services (SR 92:244) regarding the approval of a policy for allocating funds or resources to human service agencies; and WHEREAS, Council received the recommendations Services Commission. of the Human NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the policy for allocating funds and facilities to human service/community service organizations as set forth on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: Section 3: Section 4: Directs staff to work with the Human Services Commission to establish an annual process for application review and monitoring of funding for nonprofit agencies to be implemented prior to the adoption of the 1993-94 operating budget. Directs staff to work with the Human Services Commission to establish and implement reporting and monitoring procedures for any award of funding for nonprofit agencies in the 1992-93 fiscal year. Directs staff to work with all lessees of City facilities to comply with the policies adopted leasing City facilities. for
