Resolution No. 92-126 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan from <br />"Low and Medium Density Residential" to a reconfigured <br />combination of "Low and Medium Density Residential" uses, <br />and "Retail, Highway, and Service Commercial/Business and <br />Professional Office" uses as shown on the attached <br />Exhibit A, for the approximately 135-acre site located <br />generally north of Sycamore Road, east of Sunol <br />Boulevard, and south of the Mission Park and Ventana <br />Hills neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> Adopts the North Sycamore Specific Plan, as revised and <br />dated June 1992, which Specific Plan includes those EIR <br />mitigation measures which are attached in Exhibit B as <br />Conditions of Project Approval. <br /> <br />Section 4: Adopts the Environmental Impact Mitigation Monitoring <br /> Program for the project. <br /> <br />Section 5: <br /> <br /> Because there are no feasible means to mitigate the <br />loss of rural/open space land created by the project, <br />City Council makes a finding of overriding <br />considerations, as detailed in the "CEQA Findings and <br />Statement of Overriding Considerations." <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JUNE 16, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Mohr, Scribner, and Tarver <br />Mayor Mercer <br />Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
