Avoid or minimize loss of wetland habitat (page 124). <br /> <br />What: <br /> <br />When: <br />Who Verifies: <br /> <br />Individual property owners. <br />Drainage improvements shall be designed to avoid <br />disturbance wi.thin potential wetland habitat. <br />Creek restoration associated with the improved <br />natural channel shall provide no net loss of <br />habitat at a minimum and should optimally increase <br />potential habitat area and value. <br />Prior to master drainage plan approval. <br />Planning Department. <br /> <br />32. Design road crossings to minimize impacts (page 124). <br /> <br />What: <br /> <br />When: <br />Who Verifies: <br /> <br />Individual Developers. <br />Any road crossing either drainage course shall be <br />designed to respect the integrity of the streambed. <br />The California Department of Fish and Game <br />recommends bridges rather than culverts. <br />Prior to permit approval for any road crossings. <br />Public Works Department in consultation with the <br />Planning Department. <br /> <br />34.
