CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />REPORT ADDENDUM PREPARED FOR THE CITY OF <br />p?.RASANTON AS FILED UNDER CASE SP-90-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for a General Plan <br />Amendment and specific plan for the "North Sycamore <br />Area", a 135-acre site located generally north of <br />Sycamore Road, east of Sunol Boulevard, and south of the <br />Mission Park and Ventana Hills neighborhoods; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on February 4, 1992, the City Council certified the <br />project Final Environmental Impact Report as complete; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on March 17, 1992, the City Council requested that <br />revisions be integrated into the Plan relating to the <br />designation of new Medium Density Residential land, and <br />such revision was subsequently determined by the Planning <br />Director to require the preparation of an Environmental <br />Impact Report Addendum; and <br /> <br />on April 13, 1992, the Planning Commission conducted a <br />public hearing on the revised project and Environmental <br />Impact Report and recommended, among other things, that <br />the City Council certify the Environmental Impact Report <br />Addendum as complete; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton met on <br />June 16, 1992 and held a public hearing upon the <br />completeness and adequacy of the Environmental Impact <br />Report Addendum in disclosing relevant environmental <br />issues involved in the event the proposed project were to <br />be adopted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council finds, after having reviewed and <br /> considered the material in the Environmental Impact <br /> Report Addendum, that it is complete, sufficient, and <br /> acceptable for the project proposed. <br /> <br />Section 2: The city Council finds that the Environmental Impact <br /> Report Addendum for the proposed project has been <br /> completed in compliance with the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act, and state and city guidelines. <br /> <br /> <br />
