CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-123 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />MARSH/SMITH ASSOCIATES FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF AN APPROXIMATELY 18.6 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT <br />THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SUNOL BOULEVARD AND <br />1-680 TO THE "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br />DESIGNATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-91-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 16, 1992, the City Council <br />received an application from Marsh/Smith Associates to <br />change the land use designation of an 18.6 acre site <br />located at the southeast corner of Sunol Boulevard and 1- <br />680 to the "Low Density Residential" designation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings on the <br />proposed change and made recommendations to Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that an Environmental Impact <br />Report was appropriate for the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment and adopted Resolution No. 92-122 approving the <br />Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing with respect to <br />the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of <br />the public was offered the opportunity to address the <br />City Council on said amendment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the application of <br /> Marsh/Smith Associates for a General Plan Amendment to. <br /> change the land use designation of an 18.6 acre site <br /> located at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Sunol Boulevard and 1-680 to the "Low Density <br /> Residential" designation, as filed under Case GP-91-3. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The City Council determines that this is one of the <br />four times in 1992 that the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code <br />Section 65631. <br /> <br /> <br />
