CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-123 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MARSH/SMITH ASSOCIATES FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 18.6 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SUNOL BOULEVARD AND 1-680 TO THE "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-91-3 WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 16, 1992, the City Council received an application from Marsh/Smith Associates to change the land use designation of an 18.6 acre site located at the southeast corner of Sunol Boulevard and 1- 680 to the "Low Density Residential" designation; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearings on the proposed change and made recommendations to Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that an Environmental Impact Report was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment and adopted Resolution No. 92-122 approving the Environmental Impact Report; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council approves the application of Marsh/Smith Associates for a General Plan Amendment to. change the land use designation of an 18.6 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Sunol Boulevard and 1-680 to the "Low Density Residential" designation, as filed under Case GP-91-3. Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 1992 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code Section 65631.
