<br /> <br />2A <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />pLEASANTONo <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />December 5, 2006 <br />Administrative Services <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 7, 2006 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Adopt the proposed Resolution Reciting the Fact of the General Municipal <br />Election held on November 7,2006, declaring the result and such other matter as <br />provided by law <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council: <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />A General Municipal Election was held on November 7,2006 for the purpose of electing a Mayor and <br />two Members of the City Council, and voting on a ballot measure concerning the Bernal property. The <br />City consolidated its election and contracted with Alameda County Registrar of Voters to conduct the <br />election and canvass the returns.
