<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />compensation for the City's management and confidential employees, <br />except the City Manager and City Attorney, is set forth in the City's <br />Management and Confidential Employees Compensation Plan; and <br /> <br />the current Management and Confidential Employees Compensation <br />Plan expired on August 31, 2006; and <br /> <br />staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br />increase the salary control points for each management and <br />confidential classification to allow for performance-based salary <br />increases not to exceed a pool equal to 4.0% of management <br />compensation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves a revision to the Management and Confidential Employees <br />Compensation Plan to allow for performance-based salary increases not to <br />exceed a pool equal to 4.0% of management compensation and authorizes <br />the City Manager to implement the revised Management and Confidential <br />Employees Compensation Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />1 <br />
