i~DOR THF~TER FEE POLICY <br /> <br />The goals of this fee policy for Amador Theater are to: <br /> <br />1. Facilitate public use of the facility as exemplified by: <br /> <br />60 days free use by the Pleasanton Unified <br />School District; <br /> <br />Programming of the facility by the Civic Arts Program of <br />the Department of Parks and Community Services; and <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Other nonrevenue generating uses by the City for community <br />gatherings and events. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Support local, cosponsored arts groups by allowing their <br />priority use of the facility at the most reasonable rental <br />rates possible. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />Further enhance the cultural life of the community by <br />attracting other performing arts companies and artists of <br />regional and national significance to use the facility at <br />reasonable rates. <br /> <br />In order to achieve these goals, the fee structure for Amador Theater <br />will be based upon the following objectives. <br /> <br />Dedicate and book at least 150 days to revenue,generating uses <br />and activities. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />Structure the overall fee schedule to recover, on average, at <br />least 50% of the direct operating costs associated with all <br />revenue generating days. <br /> <br />Structure the overall fee schedule to recover, on average, at <br />least 30% of the total yearly direct operating expenses of the <br />theater. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Achieve Objectives 2 and 3 by implementing a sliding fee scale <br />based upon the following minimum expectations: <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />Cosponsored Groups - <br />· Lowest rate of recovery <br />· 50% average recovery of daily operating expense <br /> <br />Be <br /> <br />Non-Cosponsored Local Groups and Citizens - <br />· LOW rate of recovery <br />· 55% Average recovery of daily operating expense <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Nonlocal, Nonprofit Arts Organizations <br />· Higher rate of recovery <br />· 65% Average recovery of daily operating expense <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />Commercial, for-profit organizations <br /> <br />e Highest rate of recovery <br />· 100+% Average recovery of daily operating expense <br /> <br />SR 92:224 <br /> <br />I1 <br /> <br /> <br />
