The project developer shall be responsible for the installation of the street lighting <br />system serving the development. The street lighting for the development shall be <br />designed and located so as to minimize its visibility from the valley floor to the <br />greatest extent possible. Approval for the number, location, design, and type of <br />electroliers shall be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer. <br /> <br />98. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject <br />property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to <br />the project developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruc- <br />tion if deemed warranted by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />99. The project developer's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the <br />City Engineer prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site. <br /> <br />Urban Stormwater Design Requirements: <br /> <br />100. The project shall comply with the Alameda Countywide NPDES Permit <br />#CAS0029831, a copy of which is available at the City offices. In addition to the <br />Standard Urban Stormwater Runoff Requirements for compliance with the Ala- <br />meda County NPDES Permit, the project shall also comply with the Permit's Hy- <br />dro Modification requirements as approved by the Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board for Alameda County. <br /> <br />101. The following requirements shall be incorporated into the project: <br /> <br />a. The project developer shall submit a final grading and drainage plan pre- <br />pared by a licensed civil engineer depicting all final grades and on-site <br />drainage control measures including bio-swales. Irrigated bio-retention <br />swales and areas shall be designed as needed to the satisfaction of the City <br />Engineer to optimize the amount of the storm water running off the paved <br />surface that enters the bio-retention swalc at its most upstream end. This <br />plan shall be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer prior <br />to the issuance of the first grading permit for the development covered by <br />this approval. <br /> <br />b. The project developer shall submit sizing designs criteria to treat stormwa- <br />ter runoff at the time of the grading plan submittal. <br /> <br />SR 06:242 <br />Page 20 of 24 <br />
