<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A CAR ALLOWANCE FOR <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council (the Mayor and Councilrnembers) I'outinely use their personal <br />vehicles for City business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City department heads also routinely use their personal vehicles for City business <br />and the City Council has authorized those employees to receive a $200/month car <br />allowance to reimburse such employees for such use; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Each Councilmember and the Mayor may elect to receive a $200/month car <br />allowance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT TIlE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON 2006 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
