The EBRPD proposes to acquire
the Tehan Falls property consisting of approximately 103 acres located in the
northeastern area of Pleasant on Ridge Regional Park, approximately one mile west
of Foothill Road, in unincorporated Alameda County. The acquisition of this open
space will bring the total acreage of the Park to nearly 5,000 acres.

The grant proposal from EBRPD requested $200,000 to be used toward the
purchase of land.
