City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager <br />May 19, 1992 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Review of the City of Pleasanton Five-Year Capital <br />Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 1992/93 <br />through 1996/97. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council: <br /> <br />Adopt the proposed Capital Improvement Program <br />for fiscal year 1992/93 through 1996/97. <br /> <br />Appropriate the funding as indicated in the <br />program to meet fiscal year 1992/93 projects. <br /> <br />Approve the HCD funding and projects as <br />indicated in the program. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Each year the city adopts a Five-Year Capital <br />Improvement Program to ensure that infrastructure <br />and capital improvement needs are adequately <br />addressed and planned. The proposed Capital <br />Improvement Program establishes a course of action <br />to meet capital improvement needs over the next <br />five years. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the Council: <br /> <br />BACK~ROUND <br /> <br />The Five-Year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared to <br />provide the City Council with information necessary to determine <br />capital improvement needs over the next five years. The program <br />contains recommendations for funded projects and also contains a <br />detailed description and listing of unfunded projects. High- <br />priority unfunded projects have been highlighted as a way of <br />indicating the importance of these projects and the fact that they <br /> <br />SR92:203 <br /> <br /> <br />
