MEMBERSHIPS: <br /> <br /> The Pleasanton Downtown Association holds active membership in the California Downtown Association <br />and the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. Many PDA members also serve on the Chamber's Downtown Committee <br />and on city commissions. <br /> <br />BOARD AND STAFF: <br /> <br /> Current members of the elected (volunteer) Board of Directors are Bruce Takens (Meadowlark Dairy), <br />president; Ed Churka (Coffee Roast Express), vice-president; Karen Cram (Coast Federal Bank), secretary; and <br />Dorothe Barlett Schoenstein (Barlett Gallery), Mike Clauser (The Medicine Shoppe), Bill Laube (Pleasanton Hotel), <br />Dr. Steve Nagy (Total Life Chiropractic Center), Astrid Gehrke (Bayview Federal Bank), and Art Dunkley <br />(Castlewood Properties). <br /> <br /> Pat Lane is employed part time (20 hours per week) as Executive Director (see budget). She was recently re- <br />elected to a second three-year term on the Board of Directors of the California Downtown Association and serves as <br />the State Hospitality Chairman and Conference Workshop Planner. <br /> <br /> She is also coordinator for the Bay Area Regional Forum, a networking group of Downtown executives, and <br />is an appointed director of the Pleasanton Centennial Steering Committee. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br /> <br />
