CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-85 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE PTmASANTON ADVISORY BOARD, DECLARING THE INTENTION TO LEVY AN ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93 AND TO ESTABLISH A TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District, the purposes and boundaries of which are set forth in Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore appointed a Pleasanton Advisory Board for the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District; and WHEREAS, said Advisory Board has prepared a report for fiscal year 1992-93, which report is on file with the City Clerk, which report satisfies the statutory requirements of Streets and Highways Code, §36533, and which report is attached to this resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The report of the Advisory Board is accepted and approved. Section 2: The City Council intends to levy and collect assess- ments within the District for six months for 1992 and an annual assessment for 1993, for the proposed improvements and activities as provided in Chapter 5.28 of 'the Pleasanton Municipal Code and as provided in the attached report. Section 3: The public hearing on the levy of the proposed assessment for fiscal year 1992-93 is set for Tuesday, May 19, 1992, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California, at which time protests to the assessments may be made, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing as provided in §36534 of the Streets and Highway Code.
