CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-74 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />KAUFMANAND BROAD FOR A GENERAL PLANAMR~NDMENT <br />AS FIT~D UNDER CASE GP-91-9 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 7, 1992, the City Council <br />received an application from Kaufman and Broad for a <br />General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation <br />of a 17 acre parcel located on the north side of Stanley <br />Boulevard between First Street and California Avenue from <br />"High Density Residential" to "Medium Density <br />Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council considered the report from the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development (SR 92:151) <br />regarding the proposed General Plan Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br />was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br />and adopted Resolution No. 92-73 approving the Negative <br />Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held with respect to <br />the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of <br />the public was offered the opportunity to address the <br />City Council on said amendment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council approves the application of Kaufman <br />and Broad for a General Plan Amendment to change the land <br />use designation of a 17 acre site located on the north <br />side of Stanley Boulevard between First Street and <br />California Avenue (3801 Stanley Boulevard) from "High <br />Density Residential" to the "Medium Density Residential" <br />District. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The City Council determines that this is one of four <br />times in 1992 that the land use element of the General <br />Plan may be amended as authorized by Government Code <br />§65631. <br /> <br /> <br />
