CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-64 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL 2307 <br />(BAKE ) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 17, 1992, the City Council <br />received the report of the City Manager (SR 92:135) <br />regarding Assembly Bill 2307 (Baker), which specifies <br />certain new conditions under which land could be detached <br />from a city without that city's approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />detachment of Ridgelands property from Hayward to <br />Pleasanton is the only known situation at this time to <br />which the provisions of this bill would apply; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this bill would reduce the City of Hayward's ability to <br />terminate annexation proceedings of the Pleasanton <br />Ridgelands; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton supports <br /> Assembly Bill 2307 (Baker). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 17, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
