<br />Wednesday, July 26, 2006 <br /> <br />To whom it may concern; <br /> <br />Our home is next door to Mr. Stanton's rental property. Our address is 3120 <br />Joanne Circle, Pleasanton, Ca. We are writing in regard to the home <br />addition Mr. Rhoades is proposing to his property located behind our home. <br />We have seen many additions of this kind take place in our development and <br />appreciate the upgrading of these properties. They are beautifully done and <br />increase the value of the other homes in our neighborhood including our <br />own. We have lived next to Mr. Stanton's rental property and Mr. Rhoades <br />home for 15 years. While Mr. Stanton has a history of opposing any and all <br />property improvement including standard fencing in this area, he has no <br />problem inflicting on our neighborhood, rental families with multiple <br />children who have no pride of ownership, trarnple through our yards, deface <br />our property and park their cars on the lawn. He doesn't live here but <br />chooses to tell those of us who do how and whether we can maintain or <br />upgrade our homes. Mr. Stanton's assertion that upgrading a horne impacts <br />parking and devalues homes in the area is a red herring at best and just plain <br />false. My wife and I thoroughly approve of Mr. Rhoades building proposal <br />as he has a history of maintaining a beautiful home and is a respected <br />neighbor. <br /> <br /> <br />Randy and Beverly Duarte <br />
