<br />EXHIBIT E <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />Large Conference Room <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton <br />Thursday, June 8, 2006 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:0Op,m. by Donna Decker, Zoning Administrator, <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Donna Decker, Zoning Administrator; Leslie Mendez, Assistant Planner; <br />Robert Sweeney, Applicant/Contractor; Mr, and Mrs. Rhoades, Subject <br />Site Property Owners; and Mr. and Mrs, Stanton, neighbors, <br /> <br />PADR-1542 <br />Application for administrative design review to construct an approximately <br />1,224-square-foot second-floor addition and an approximately 120-square-foot <br />first-floor addition to the front of the existing residence located at 3227 Anastacia <br />Court. <br /> <br />Ms, Mendez presented the project. <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton stated their tenants eomplained about the proposed addition at the Rhoades' <br />home. She stated that the majority ofliving space oftheir home that is V-shaped is in the <br />back and therefore will be greatly affected by construction noise, She stated they would <br />have a loss of view of the sky and that although the design is beautiful, it is inconsistent <br />with the other structures in the tract. <br /> <br />Ms. Decker asked Mrs. Stanton if there was any element in particular that she opposed, <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton replied no, just the whole second story, She stated that she didn't have a <br />chance to view the plans beforehand because she was too busy, She stated a concern of <br />sun glare on her property from the addition as well as the fact that they may lose their <br />tenant due to construction noise, <br /> <br />Mrs, Rhoades stated that many homes in the tract have been updated and upgraded, <br /> <br />Mr. Rhoades said that he had previously offered to pay for and install an overheight fence <br />between their properties for privacy, but that the Stantons opposed the idea. <br /> <br />Mrs, Stanton said the fence would have made them feel boxed in. <br />
