CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-62 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF APPROXIMATELY 1,170 <br />ACRES, AS FILEDUNDERCASE GP-91-8 (RUBY HILL) <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan from "Agriculture and <br />Grazing" to a reconfigured "Agriculture and Grazing", <br />"Public Health and Safety", and "Low Density Residential" <br />for 1,170 acres of the Ruby Hill site; and <br /> <br />the area is located south of Vineyard Avenue and west of <br />the realigned Vallecitos Road; and <br /> <br />the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br />was appropriate for the General Plan amendment and <br />adopted Resolution No. 92-41 approving the Negative <br />Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held with respect to <br />the General Plan amendment, at which time any member of <br />the public was afforded the opportunity to address the <br />City Council on said amendment; and <br /> <br />the City Council desires to make changes to the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the <br />four times during the calendar year such changes may be <br />made. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council determines that this is one of the <br />four times in 1992 that the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan may be amended, as authorized by Government <br />Code Section 65631. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan from <br />"Agriculture and Grazing" to a reconfigured "Agriculture <br />and Grazing", "Public Health and Safety", and "Low <br />Density Residential" for the 1,170-acre site located <br />south of Vineyard Avenue and west of the realigned <br />Vallecitos Road, as illustrated on the attached Exhibit <br />A. <br /> <br /> <br />
