CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-56 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO ALAMEDA COUNTY'S <br />PROPOSED TAX S~T~ AUCTION OF PARCEL GENERATW~ <br />REFERRED TO AS 941-2766-37 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton approved Tract 4768, Foothill <br />Knolls Unit I, which Tract created a separate parcel for <br />access to two lots, 7930 Raccoon Hollow Court and 7942 <br />Raccoon Hollow Court, within this subdivision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City believes that this parcel should not have been <br />assessed with taxes as its value is de minimis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton desires to retain the original <br />design of this subdivision for public health, safety and <br />welfare reasons. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton objects to the proposed Alameda <br />County Tax Sale Auction of the parcel generally referred <br />to as APN 941-2766-37. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Clerk is directed to file this resolution <br /> with the Alameda County Office of the Treasurer Tax <br /> Collector and Alameda County Board of Supervisors prior <br /> to the sale scheduled for April 22, 1992. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> The City Attorney is directed to write the Alameda <br />County Assessor and request that this parcel be removed <br />from the tax rolls. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 17, 1992, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />- Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> <br />APPROVED AS ~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
