Box 520 <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />Subject: Treated Water Supply for 1-580 Corridor Irrigation <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br /> <br />This letter will serve as the agreement between the Dublin San Ramon Services District <br />("DSRSD") and the City of Pleasanton (PLEASANTON) for utility planning services to be <br />provided by DSRSD relating to PLEASANTON'S proposed, project for use of recycled water <br />for landscape planting along the 1-580 corridor. (Hopyard, Tassajara and Santa Rita <br />interchanges) The transmission and irrigation facilities plan has been forwarded to DSRSD. <br />This agreement is entered into pursuant to Resolution No. 24-90, adopted by DSRSD's Board <br />of Directors on April 3, 1990. <br /> <br />PLEASANTON has requested that DSRSD conduct, or cause to be conducted, activities and <br />studies to determine the requirements for providing recycled water services and facilities to the <br />project. Such studies and activities include, but are not limited to, attending meetings and <br />conferring with engineers and other experts, representatives of the City of Pleasanton, Zone 7, <br />and other governmental agencies which do or may have approval authority over the project, and <br />other persons or agencies serving as sources of information or providing other services regarding <br />PLEASANTON'S proposed project; contracting or subcontracting the performance of <br />professional services (including, but not limited to, engineering consulting services) necessary <br />or appropriate to ascertain the above-mentioned services requirements for the landscape project; <br />collecting information, data, and conducting any other planning activities as may be necessary <br />or appropriate in pursuance of PLEASANTON'S proposed project. PLEASANTON shall <br />furnish DSRSD current factual information regarding PLEASANTON'S project necessary for <br />utilities planning purposes. <br /> <br />At the time that DSRSD requests the remittance of the installment amounts described below, <br />DSRSD shall provide a summary of anticipated activities to be funded from the installment. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, any and all further services to be provided for or by DSRSD <br />shall only be furnished if funds have been deposited by PLEASANTON sufficient to cover the <br />estimated cost of such services as determined by DSRSD. <br /> <br />In accordance with the foregoing, upon signing a copy of this letter in the place provided <br /> <br /> <br />
