CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-45 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL (CASE AP-92-3) THEREBY UPHOLDING THE APPROVAL OF CASE Z-91-244 AS APPROVED BY THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 14, 1992, the Design Review Board conditionally approved Case Z-91-244, the application of Community First National Bank/Ambiance Associates for design review approval to modify the facade of the existing Community First National Bank building located at 749 Main Street; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization District; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, an appeal was submitted to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on February 18, 1992, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledged that the applicant has 1) agreed to allow the general public use of a portion of its parking lot during the reconstruction of Main Street; and 2) expressed a willingness to remove the fence along the southern property line, thereby allowing for consolidation of the parking lots on this block; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the project, as conditioned by the Design Review Board, is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Denies Case AP-92-3, thereby upholding Design Review Board approval of Case Z-91-244, the application of Community First National Bank/Ambiance Associates for design review approval to modify the facade of the existing Community First National Bank building located at 749 Main Street, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part of this case by reference.
