CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-45 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL (CASE AP-92-3) THEREBY UPHOLDING THE <br />APPROVAL OF CASE Z-91-244 AS APPROVED BY THE <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 14, 1992, the Design Review <br />Board conditionally approved Case Z-91-244, the <br />application of Community First National Bank/Ambiance <br />Associates for design review approval to modify the <br />facade of the existing Community First National Bank <br />building located at 749 Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), <br />Downtown Revitalization District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code, an appeal was submitted to the City Clerk of the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held before the City Council on <br />February 18, 1992, at which time all pertinent testimony <br />and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council acknowledged that the applicant has <br />1) agreed to allow the general public use of a portion of <br />its parking lot during the reconstruction of Main Street; <br />and 2) expressed a willingness to remove the fence along <br />the southern property line, thereby allowing for <br />consolidation of the parking lots on this block; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that the project, as <br />conditioned by the Design Review Board, is appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies Case AP-92-3, thereby upholding Design Review <br /> Board approval of Case Z-91-244, the application of <br /> Community First National Bank/Ambiance Associates for <br /> design review approval to modify the facade of the <br /> existing Community First National Bank building located <br /> at 749 Main Street, subject to the conditions shown on <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part of this case <br /> by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
