WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-41 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY THE CITY OF <br />P~ASANTON FOR A SPHERE-OF-INFLUENCE <br />EXPANSION, GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, AND <br />PREZONING AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-91-8 AND <br />RZ-91-7 <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 18, 1992, the city Council <br />received a proposed Negative Declaration for the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton for: (1) an <br />expansion of the city's eastern Sphere-of-Influence to <br />include an additional approximately 579.37 acres; (2) an <br />amendment of the Pleasanton General Plan Land Use Map for <br />1,170 acres of the Ruby Hill area to conform to the uses <br />approved for the site by Alameda County through the <br />1837th Zoning Unit on June 6, 1991; and (3) a Planned <br />Unit Development district prezoning of the Ruby Hill area <br />to conform to the uses approved by Alameda County through <br />the 1837th Zoning Unit on June 6, 1991, and the Vineyard <br />Avenue Corridor area for uses currently specified by the <br />Pleasanton General Plan; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the revised <br />Initial Study dated October 25, 1991 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held, at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed Sphere-of-Influence <br />expansion, General Plan amendment, and prezoning; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed Sphere-of- <br />Influence expansion, General Plan Amendment, and <br />prezoning would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment; and <br /> <br />the City Council further finds that the proposed project <br />will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's <br />wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
