CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS , <br />LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 <br />(PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT <br />OF 1972) <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council intends to levy and collect <br />assessments within Landscape Assessment District No. <br />1984-1 during fiscal year 1991-92. The area of land to <br />be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda <br />County. <br />Section 2: The improvements to be made in this assessment <br />district are generally described as follows: <br />Construction and maintenance of a landscaped strip along <br />the Arroyo de la Laguna between Pleasanton Canal and the <br />Arroyo del Valle. <br />Section 3: In accordance with this Council's resolution <br />directing the filing of an annual report, Joseph Elliott, <br />Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the <br />report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of <br />1972. All interested persons are referred to that report <br />for a full and detailed description of the improvements, <br />the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots <br />and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br />Section 4: On Tuesday, the 18th of June, 1991, at the hour of <br />7:30 p.m. , the City Council will conduct a public hearing <br />on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br />assessment. The hearing will be located in the City <br />Hall, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br />Section 5: The City clerk is authorized and directed to give <br />the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972. <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
