<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-68 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVANCE CASH FOR GRANT FUNDED <br />PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, most grant funded proj ects require the Ci ty to make <br />expenditures prior to receiving grant funded <br />reimbursements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the grant reimbursement process often necessitates cash <br />advances by the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has historically made such advances from the <br />General Fund. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Council hereby authorizes the Director of Finance <br />to advance cash from the General Fund when necessary for <br />grant funded projects until the City receives the grant, <br />at which time the General Fund shall be reimbursed. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MAY 7, 1991 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />None <br />Councilmember Butler <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: I <br /> <br />71~P1-{ fht4i1~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
